In his current practice, Dr. Scolaro treats a broad range of patients across all age groups for problems such as ear infections, chronic tonsillitis, septal deviations, sinus disease, obstructive sleep apnea, vocal cord dysfunction, and cancers of the head, neck and mouth. He is especially skilled in thyroid and parathyroid surgeries and is adept at assisting in neurosurgery for the resection of transsphenoidal tumors. He also has a strong interest in office-based sinus balloon dilation surgery. Dr. Scolaro is proud to serve as the current Medical Director for Covenant High Plains Surgery Center campuses and adjunct faculty professor for Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine.
Prior to practicing in Lubbock, Dr. Scolaro received his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin before completing his medical degree and residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Dr. Scolaro is licensed to practice in the state of Texas and is a board-certified member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery, a member of the Texas Medical Board and Covenant Health Partners.
Outside of the office, Dr. Scolaro enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife, Margaret, and 6 children- Mark, Kevin, Jack, Ella, Sophie & Presley.
