About Dr. Andrew Shakespeare
Dr. Andrew Shakespeare is a native West Texan, born and raised in the Lubbock area.
After graduating from Lubbock Christian University with his undergraduate degree, he attended Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine. He completed both his residency and fellowship at Baylor Scott & White in Temple.
Dr. Shakespeare’s expertise is pulmonary critical care. He is an active member of several organizations including the American College of Chest Physicians and the American Thoracic Society.
Recognized for his exceptional patient care, Dr. Shakespeare believes in mutual respect and compassionate, empathetic patient care decisions. He focuses on building relationships with patients and helping them to optimize whatever health issues they are facing.
Dr. Shakespeare enjoys horseback riding and team roping, being outdoors, reading, volunteering, and spending time with his family. He and his wife are happy to return home to Lubbock, and they look forward to raising their children here.
